Instructors and/or TAs can reach out to the ASU Bookstore for information on how to access their textbook.
The Course Development Worksheet serves as a collaborative guide for faculty and instructional designers to plan, design, and track the progress of new courses. It outlines ASU Online’s course development process, provides space for course outlines and instructor input, and ensures alignment with quality standards. Faculty are expected to complete all course elements at least two weeks before launch to allow for quality assurance review. The worksheet is supported by key resources, including the ASU Online Faculty Document (with quality checklists and pacing milestones), instructional designer services, and the ASU Online Faculty Center in Canvas for orientation, best practices, and peer forums. Additional training opportunities such as the Master Class for Teaching Online, media support through the New Media Studio, and ongoing quality assurance services are also highlighted. Faculty can also access support from UTO’s 24/7 Canvas and tech help, ASU librarians for copyright guidance, and the Disability Resource Center for accessibility accommodations.
